Oh yeah. I hate overly religious people too. Im an atheist myself, but I cant stand the overly religious people. They aggravate me. I mean you make a clean argument with them or something or you disagree with them and they'll tell you you're going to hell and you should repent of your sins or something like that. They get way out of hand.

Yes, it does. Religion is about hope and security. It's also about brainwashing the younger ones. When you make a decent argument, they either act hurt or they say that they hope you will change your mind because they know it's what you should do. Religious people rely more on emotions rather than logic, which I find to be not a very decent argument.

Personally, I choose to take the term"rest in peace" literally. I mean, life is long enough without having to drea.. I mean look forward to another one afterwards. The way I see it, once we die we have lived long enough, and there is nothing to fear from an everlasting sleep. Personally, I question the very inspirations of all of these religions, especially Christian disciplines.Then there is the whole fact that people do not seem to agree on the same subjects in the same faith. Like with gay people(I'm straight by the way), some priests say they are doomed to hell, others say that their god made them that way for a reason and they aren't condemned. Or exactly what heaven or hell entails. Plus there are about twelve different places where people swear their respective gods were born. I could go on forever on this subject. I do agree with you though, they do rely on emotions, particularly fear and sympathy. Neither emotion has served me very well in my life, so they are barking up the wrong tree. I find it hilarious, though, that so many people aren't smart enough to know when to stop. Don't you?

Yeah, I do, too. I mean, I remember my uncle saying that he wakes up every morning almost sad that he didn't die in his sleep. Religious people don't realize it but the life we have now is all we need. I mean, once you get old enough (maybe to the age of 60-80), you're pretty much waiting to die. It doesn't matter if you're a believer or not. You're just waiting for your time to come.

Ouch. That's kind of me. I'm a huge introvert. At the same time, though, I wouldn't be able to be with someone who talks through the entire conversation. It's like I say one thing and they just ramble on and on for like hours. And when they're finally done and I've been tired out just listening to them they're all "You seem quiet."

Well, don't have it be like he's trying to fight evil or find some treasure or something. That gets cliché really really quickly. You could add a twist to it and have the character actually be a bad person

yeah, i generally like it that way, thats why i think vengeance is going to be my characters main motive, because then i can do anything with it, and make it so he has just as many bad traits as he does good traits, it makes him seem more real that way.

Someone who rebuts everything you say in a conversation. Someone who crushes my light hearted, fun loving personality with a fatherly, way to serious personality. Someone who excessively talks, I love to talk and can handle a lot of talking, but I can't handle extreme, excessive talking. My muscles start to tighten and twitch my eyes get shifty, and I start singing a song in my head to block out the talking, like bohemian rhapsody.
