absolutely NOT! Creating a dress code takes away some of the freedom students have and the more leeway students and parents alike alow the more freedom they take and the more prison like schools become
I think they should have guidelines to prevent kids from dressing inappropriately. Some things like no shirt collars bellow the collar bone for girls, no dresses above the knee for prom/homecoming or no super short shorts (guys and girls!) would keep things more modest. Kids that are still in school are too young to dress "sexy".
Yes I think so. If you are bunking your school / class at least others should know that some school kids are not attending school. If they play some mischief they must be reported immediately to school authority. Even kids don't have sense of disparity in the prescribed uniforms.
