If i reset my iphone 3gs can i redownload game apps and continue with what i had? And does it erase pictures as well?

It only resets the original factory settings. Not all of your added stuff. But do you have your info backed up to iTunes or icloud just to be safe? You can always re sync. And anytime you buy an app, it's yours forever. Even if you delete it yourself you can always download it again without purchasing it again.

You can re-download game apps and continue with what you had. The pictures are also erased when you do a reset. However, you can recover them back if you had backed them up somewhere else.
