Self desecrate? Not everyone thinks of it as self desecration. I have a couple and would possible get others. I seriously doubt it is any of your business though Tattoos and the art of tatooing has been around for a really long time. As a matter of fact.... a frozen human specimen thought to be about 10,000 years old was found recently..... tattooed.
I don't right now, but I plan on it. It's not self-desecrating to everyone you know. I think it's art. Now doing full body tattoos, for me, are a little "iffy" but everyone is different. You shouldn't treat tattoos like they're a self-desecrating thing. As @JackSolomon said don't come on here asking for a fight because you know, saying things like that, you're going to get one.
I have one, but it is not like you think It is a medical one. I have a blue dot so the doctors can easily find a suspicious spot on my body. This way they easily keep track of it. Like has it changed size or shape.
i dont have any but it really depends why your getting a tatoo, if I got one it would have to be a symbol of an extremely strong view point or feeling towards something that i know my feelings will never change on, like my Dad's name who passed away or something
Opinion: Some tats are just magnificent and are works of art; others are just plane scuzzy. I think (opinion only) the tat probably expresses the heart and soul of the wearer. Just consider this: how will you look as a little old lady or little old man at 85/90/95 in your coffin? If that's the way you want to be remembered, go for it! Hope you can get a job wearing/displaying your tats. Yes, I have them, too!
