my twin sister is so much smarter than me! I'm tired of living in her shadow What do I do to get better and be like her? ps were identical

she's good at math English and everything and a girlygirl, but I'm pretty much a a stupid kid and a tomboy

You are your own person. Don't try to compare yourself to her, even if she seems smarter than you. You guys are identical on the outside, but definitely not on the inside. You have your own pros, and are completely equal. Don't ever forget that :(

No need to be like her. Although you are twins, you are two different individuals and do not get into a trap of trying to duplicate your sister. You will have talents come out that your sister cannot duplicate. I am a twin, so I know what I am talking about...

Just because your identical twins doesn't mean everything has to be the same. Like someone already said on here you are your own individual.
Be happy for who you are. :)

Learn to like yourself for what your good at. Truly. I know how you feel, my sister (my little sister, for that matter) is smarter, more athletic, and prettier than me. My dad has always favored her, and things like school and looking good has always come easily for her. I'm still a little jealous and probably always will be, but I am awesome at things she sucks at. I can drive a stick shift, and learn languages with ease. I'm better with people and more comfortable with myself than she is. So yes, learn to embrace who you are, not what you are compared to her.

Don't be like her. Find your own strengths and build on them. Since you are a tomboy, I am going to guess you play sports. Pick one or two sports and practice and become really good at those. Be yourself and your confidence will build.

First off who cares. Find something your good at and do it. Dont just be someone elses shadow. Second study. Third get your hair done and wear something pretty. Fourth if you fail at all that well you just need more self confidence.

*sighs* I'm there with you, but in a bit worse of a position. My older brother got a full ride to any college he wanted, all A's, top of the class, just all around smart. I have been trying to do as well as him, with little success. The truly awful part is my two younger brothers who are in 8th grade already qualify to graduate high school! They will have surpassed me by the end of next year and will probably be taking college courses in their junior year. The only way I can cope with it is to accept that I'm just not as studious as them. And I have learned to be fine with that!

I was you at a point in my life. Now I'm 40 with kids. I just did what I could and the best that I could do it. My brother didn't end up graduating from college, and he was always praised upon. I got an associates in criminal justice and became a cop.

That's it nice. Time is a great equalizer

Frankly, after I got over the fact that my little bros know more than I do, I kinda figured I have a better understanding of life as a whole, not just academics.

Everyone has their own individual gifts. You're always at your best when you're being yourself. It's unhealthy to compare yourself to others.

Just be the best "you" you can be. Study hard, be kind to people, and do your best.
