What type of transmission fluid does a 1999 kia sephia take,its a 1.8L and has 152,xxx miles,i lost the owners manual?

The grade it takes is on the top of the fuel cap. Once you have that, make sure (at an auto store) that aftermarket brands will work (not entirely sure about that) but dealerships will have the right stuff (sp lll) its just pricier

Why would the type of tranny fluid required be on the fuel cap? There aren't that many types of transmission fluid, just go on line, you can most likely download the owners manual too
