Why can't I do a lot of sit-ups?
I can do a lot of push ups, like 55, I'm 16. but I can't do sit-ups, what's up? maybe like 20
If you're consistent about it, the number of sit-ups you're able to do will continue to increase just as the muscle tone in your stomach does.
You don't have the right muscles?
Lack of muscles in your core... which isnt nessecarily a bad thing you could go for the big arms skinny body look

Sometimes you need someone/something to hold your feet down or it will be difficult.

Merrilltom above is absolutely correct. You have to keep up on it. Gotta stay doing them all the time or the number won't increase as fast as you want it to.
You prob do more push ups then sit ups just do them more often
