No, because there is little evidence for the existence of one, there is little agreement as to which one actually exists, and because it's easier to explain how things came to exist without a god than it is to explain how a god came to exist.
yes, i have faith. i have the guts to believe in it. i have proof to why i believe in God. can u see wind? i cant, but i can feel the impact. same with God. i cant see Him but i know the impact. i know some may not aggree but please dont bother commenting. i mean theres sooo many things that repersent God alone. theres a saying: [no God, no peace. Know God, know peace]....i think thats how it goes.
Yes... Because I am a Christian. The bible is the most influential and most historically accurate and reliable religious document ever found. There are over 3,000 manuscripts of the new testament in comparison to about 1,200 or less of that to the Koran and Tora. God is relatable, righteous, and ruler... Plus did u know the new and old testaments were written over 500 years apart but still fit together? And being a Christian is the right thing! ( in my opinion) plus with our God you don't have to do anything but ask for forgiveness and you will go to heaven!
You just opened a can of warms. There's a saying in talk radio: if you want people to get excited, talk about god, gays, and guns. For me, if you believe or not, that's not for me to decide. At the same time, don't try to mandate your belief on me.
*Compared to ants, we are powerful beings. Do you care what ants do? *If god where involved in the affairs of humans, why should we strive to better ourselves. After all god will provide? This leads to a mentality of laziness. A smart god would see that and would not interfere. *God put you here for a purpose right? Was that purpose to be slave or servant or murderer or poor? This leads people to accept their fate and make no effort to enhance their life - think "caste". *If god performs miracles, why has god never helped an amputee. God helps the blind and the sick but not the burn victims or amputees? *If god where to grant prayers our civilization would fall apart. Why go to the dentist if you can pray away your cavity? Why maintain your car if you can pray that it keeps running? Why study for an exam if you can pray for divine inspiration? Why bother doing or learning anything? A smart god would see this and not grant any prayers. *Our species makes decisions based on 2 tools: reason and senses. If god where to intervene and affect those, we could not trust any decision we make to be correct. In that case how do you design a plane or a car or a computer or a building?
