Well I guess you would have to think of it like: how would the world have even existed if there wasn't anyone or anything to create it. But if you pray and give your best to believe, ask for something like an answer. If you receive the answer in anyway, you know who it was from :)
I have had an issue that I couldn't tell my family about, and I tried for four years to get it to go away. Then I asked God for help, the next day I was great. I hadn't felt so good in a long time. I always find after I pray, I feel safer, calmer and happier :)
No hard scientific evidence. In fact, there's quite a lot more evidence and theories against it. Christianity is, essentially, a widespread cult that has been accepted *coughcoughFORCED* by many cultures.
Think of the "big bang". Before that, they said there was no life and no way that life could survive. Bang! Non-living matter creates living matter. So rocks and minerals floating through space created life? No.
20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
This really depends on the way you mean the word "proof". There is no proof for God in precisely the same way that there is no proof for say the essence of a thing or that reality is what our senses indicates it to be. Finding a manner of "proof" for God is very easy unless you have developed a starting point of doubt and are perhaps bewildered by the various "descriptions" we humans have expressed God by. Anything we observe as having purpose, order and life is reasonably understood as "proof" of God. Of course this isn't proof in the sense of the scientific method, but the scientific method doesn't have independent proof that it's range of knowledge is all there is. To claim that it is, is it's own faith (and for many atheists it represents their own "belief system" or "world view"). Consider the fact that in the range of human knowledge, there are three "pillars": science, philosophy, religious(theology)....not just science. In fact science would be nothing without people to conduct it and every person I've ever met (including scientist! Lol) all have beliefs and biases. Just a couple things for u to think about. ;)

We have no evidence, nor any proof to believe, of a god. As it seems, that the power (!) of god is giving men the ability to realize that there is NO god!
If we admit that there's a god & that infinite god has controlled the destinies of persons and peoples, history becomes a most cruel & bloody farce. It's enough to make one almost insane with pity to think what man in the long journey has suffered; of the tortures he’s endured, surrounded by malignant powers even at the watch of a merciful god! Age after age, the strong have trampled upon the weak; the crafty and heartless have ensnared and enslaved the simple and innocent, helpless men, women and children crawled groveling in the dust to the temple's door, and there, in the insanity of despair, besought the deaf gods to hear his bitter cry of agony and fear, and nowhere, in all the annals of mankind, has any god succored the oppressed. All these fallacies points out to one conclusion, that God is imaginary.
Bible is not a proof of god. To prove that bible is god's words, you must prove the existence of God first. You must also prove that this God thinks, acts, has objects, ends and aims. Such proof is still absent...
I believe that if an individual is open to the idea of a supreme being , then all that needs to be done is to see all of the wonderful things in our lives. If an individual only believes that which can be proven without doubt , then probably nothing would allow that person to accept the idea of God's existence. As for myself, far too many wonderful things have happened in my life for them to be just happenstance .
I've never seen, heard, or touched my God BUT I've never seen, heard, or touched my brain either so how do we know we have a brain by faith same thing with wind I don't see touch or hear it but I know it's there also Albert Einstein, Isaac Newton, ect... They believed in God so are you smarter than them? Evidence is everywhere you just have to look
The proof is in the Maker of all that is alive. There is but one source to the beginning of life. Everything originates from this one Holy & True Spirit. (energy source). Listen to the birds humming his song. Watch as the rainbow obeys His command. See how the stars & suns & moons, all galaxies in the heaven, keep their post & dare not overstep their bounds. The mountains don't leave their station unless ordered. The sea & winds listen to His voice. "The fool says in his heart; there is no God" God is not religion. He is POWER.

Sister if you truly want the answer to your question, ask him. Honestly speaking, don't seek anyone's opinion on the Mighty One. According to the top three theological religions God is no respecter of persons. No book is needed, as required throughout the denominational masses, just your heart speaking to him. No words needed out loud or spoken by you. Just inside your heart asking him about yours and his relationship. The important thing is to listen quietly. Only you and the Everywhere Spirit are walking your journey. Your and the Mighty One's walk can compare to no other. Each one of us has a one and only walk with him. He is our friend and wishes nothing but peace between him and us. Stay away from those who hinder the soul and spirit from peace between the Everywhere Spirit. Only God can speak for himself and not anybody elses thought's, books, or image of whom he is can come close.
A friendship is where any true relationship begins.
