What separates the church of christ from other doctrines?

Report as

Christians believe that God created the heaven and the earth, and mankind,Adam and Eve ate of the forbidden fruit, bringing original sin into the world and now all mankind will die in there sins,God knowing that all men sin created a way to save mankind from eternal death from sin through his only son,Jesus Christ suffered and died so that our sins could be forgiven and we could have eternal life in heaven,so we except Jesus as our savior and repent our sins to him,or we die in our sins.Where other religons don't deal with mans sins.

This was the least helpful thing I ever read. All you did was talk about what the bible says. And, you're actually pretty wrong. Other religions do deal with what man should and shouldn't do; they just don't call them sins.

TheSilentNinja:You need to leave my questions alone your I have had enough of your ignorance. You Don't Value Truth.what can we say of those who actively reject logic?
You have an amazing tendency to try to justify your actions.and why would you fight against something that doesn't exist ?

Actively reject logic? My ignorance? Wow. What logic was there in that? Deb, I want to mention that I am a very open minded person, and I'm an atheist. But I can't stand it when a person speaks what they don't know against other religions. You claim that other religions do not regard what a man should and shouldn't do. I want to correct your lack of knowledge. I am not fighting against something that doesn't exist. I am correcting your lack of knowledge. I see the only reason why you believe is because of your misconceptions and your lack of knowledge. I'm an open minded person but I can't stand it when a person speaks something as fact when in fact they have a lack of actual knowledge.
I have an amazing tendency to try to justify my actions? Wow, you have an amazing tendency to be like other Christians and use that argument and yet I have not said anything that would attempt to justify my actions (that would be considered wrong by your standards of course). deb, I am simply tired of Christians like you trying to spread lies out into the world about religions you don't know about when you don't know anything about them. You have no logic, Deb. You have never used logic.

They believe in works for salvation an if that is true NONE of us will go to heaven because we are not perfect like God
Romans 3:23
For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Amen. Christians believe what Jesus said and obey it.

I disagree, Amanda, I am Church of Christ- we do not believe in works for salvation. We do not have musical instruments in Church, only the beautiful voices of the people going up to God. Salvation is through trust and belief in Gods Son, The Lord Jesus Christ, that He died on the cross for our sins and He is the only way to Heaven. Salvation is a free gift through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Christ's Church is the Body of Christ, the doctrines (teachings) from the Bible are totally separate from men's doctrines. The Bride of Christ is made up of the saved, those that have obeyed God's doctrine.

We believe in water baptism. We partake of the Lords Supper every Sunday. We do not have musical instruments in Church. We are non- denominational. We follow the KJNT
