I have long hair....past my waist line also akgirl907. I have not cut my hair in over 12 years and have no intention in doing so. I guess it is a personal preference.....and I would NEVER cut my hair cuz a guy said he would like it better. Then, should you do that, and it doesn't work out, what happens??? You are stuck with a haircut you hate and a guy you dislike even more. haha Not to mention, you can do sooooo much more with long hair. Yes it is a PAIN to maintain but to me it is well worth it.

amen! love this answer as well! but don't forget it is best to get your hair trimmed every once in a while, keep it healthy and all :)

I agree with that. However, initially when I began not to cut my hair it was for religious purposes, which I no longer practice, so yes, I now do trim the bottom, ever so little, but I do not cut ANY length off of it. :-)

I have short hair like Halle berry...( she is prettier than me though)..but guys love me for who I am.

depends on the guy ._.
I first noticed i perfered girls with short hair when my girlfriend cut hers :D it was like Bang! xD yeah ._. short hair is better for the choice of man of course xD my hair is long xD

I would think so since most girls have long hair. Anyways I don't think the length of hair is ever a deal-breaker unless the guy is very shallow- so don't worry about it.

my hair is long and is too my waist line, i keep it healthy, and everybody i know tells me if i cut it they would hurt me, kinda creepy though cause i get random strangers come up to me in grocery lines or gas stations, touching my hair and telling me how beautiful it is, but keeping long hair healthy is a lot of work

I've only ever had trims, im 21 now lol i never let it get past my waist line though cause i think there is a point where after it gets too long it doesn't look good, just my opinion though

lol thanks, glad im not the only one dealing with the weirdo's who think its okay to touch other people's hair! drives me nuts, can't count how many times I've wanted to slap people for it! lmao

yes indeed! I was even in the grocery store once, and felt something ever so slightly brushing against my hair. I turned around just in time to see this "man thing" removing his NOSE out of my hair. His only explanation at being caught was "Your hair smells so good".......freaks will be freaks I guess.
