Im a 15 year old girl who needs help with my weight and life

hello, im taylor, and im a 15 year old girl whos overweight. i weigh 210 pounds, and i need help..im always out of breath..always eating..and i hate myself..i wanna change. i wanna do something too make it better, and i keep asking my mom for a dietitian, cause im serious about it and crying over it all the time, and shes says she not wasting her money on that or diet food and i need to do it on my own and i cant!!! i cant.. i need help so much..i feel helpless and i dont know what to do..i need guidance from someone who knows how to fix this..please..anyone..i wanna grow up to be like this..

Taylor, it's gonna take a change of lifestyle. You gotta exercise in some way, on a regular basis. You gotta develop a sensible eating plan and stick with it. Plan for the process to take a while, months. The best thing about this is there is plenty of info and help out there, hundreds of magazines and health publications dedicated to goals like yours. Once you see improvements, your motivation will improve as you feel better. Set a goal and don't waver. No one can do this for you. No sugar coating it. It will be work, but its worth it.

you should not have to change you self for any one, but you. and if you really want this just start with the little things like walking every day or skipping out on junk and soda. most important drink lots of water. Taylor you ARE NOT helpless so dont feel helpless and do let people make you cry. i no how you feel im 225 and my family wont get off my back about it.

You need to believe in yourself and never give up, dont let anyone stop you from what you want . If you want a difference you need to make a difference . I say start off easy , go for a walk , and instead of eating all the time put on some music and dance . Thats what i do . I honestly think that if you believe in yourself , and hope that you get what you want you will get it but your going to have to work hard . Good luck. I really wish you can achieve your goal to lose weight. Im not even halfway there. If you want to talk about it or ask questions go ahead :)

You can't expect a diet and a dietitian to suddenly make you thin. You have to do these things yourself. Exercise, eat a healthy and balanced diet, and you should be good to go. But, as TheZ says, it's not gonna happen in a day. Or a week. Or a month. It will probably take anywhere from 6 months to several years for you to get to your desired weight. But if you give up, even for one second, then all is lost. You have to accept that this will take time.

If you exercise more than you eat you will lose weight. So the key is to start with a plan. Walking is good and easy. You can't just stop eating so start with good choices. Make a list of foods you can eat. There are free calorie counters on the Internet. Many vegetables are low in calories so you can eat a lot of them. If you can't cut portion sizes change what you eat. Soups are filling and lower in calories. Eat fruit. Make salads. Chicken instead of ham. You can eat a lot of the right things and lose weight.
