Deaf, I feel like not being able to see my family, or my love grow would be devastating. It would make it hard to function and I would need support from my family and I wouldn't want to be a burden.

Blind. Have you ever tried watching a movie and closing your ears then closing your eyes but opening your ears? It's much easier to continue understanding what's going on around you if you can hear and not see.

I'm already half deaf (literally deaf in one ear). But I couldn't be blind. I LOVE seeing the world around me.

My initial response would be deafness, but I do like music, so that would make deafness pretty harsh. Can I lose my sense of smell instead?

Blind... I play cello and I would be able to play by ear but if I was deaf I would never know if I'm in tune or not. Plus I love listening to music
