You use both uppercase and lowercase letters, you try not to use words found in an actual dictionary but known(eg Batman), you put punctuation in the middle of a word to throw hackers off and write it long but memorable.
51mple, use 1's in place of i's. 5 for s. And capitalize one or two letters. Use Roman numerals for numbers. Dec. 21 1984 = XII XXI 1984 The spaces are not allowed by many programs. U can also use phrases from books or movies. Not the really famous ones, but something you remember. Hope this helped. G00d Luck 51mplealexFly.
The most secure passwords contain a mixture of UPPER, and lower case letters, Numbers, and symbols. Adding symbols increases the complexity greatly! Also, mix it up real good! I usually pick out a word...say the word "sanity" My password for that would be S@n1tY Not super strong because it is only 6 characters...but you get the point! Longer passwords are better passwords...So instead of a word, you might choose a phrase...Never ever write it down if you want it to be secure...I have seen too many passwords underneath keyboards, or taped to monitors in my days! One person actually taped his PayPal password on his monitor! Common Numbers or symbols for letters: 3 = E 1 = I 5 = S @=A 8 = ate (Sk8 = Skate) $ = S ! = 1 or I or L 0 = O
You could start thinking of a word that is easy for you to remember. Long password composed of 8 letters is good. You could also use two short words without space like death match so that you could make one long word. As long as you will remember it easily. From the word that you think add some numbers and some uppercase on it. Your password would look like this "DeathmAtch22". You just need to experiment the combination of your password.
I like to use scientific names of animals/plants another good one is take a line in your favorite song such as "Hey I just met you and this is crazy" and use the first letters of each word capitalize one random letter and add a number suck hiJmyatic7
NEVER use 'password', '12345', 'abc', and really simple things as a password. But don't make it so hard that you will forget it. Make it something like a pet's name or a name that is not your name and then your favourite number. It's a great tip. I use it all the time.
Make up a weird nonsensical name and add a number after it. Like for example...Snuffiepillowcase4 ( doesn't need to be that long but should be equally absurd) :-p No real names you know, or pet names, nothing anyone who knows you would ever guess.
Write a word out; let's say "cupcake" cupcake Pick 7 numbers; let's say "1-2-7-4-6-8-9" Put them in there: cup127ca4689ke or something like that Capitalize a weird letter Use maybe a long number, not 1234567 or 9876543. Not obvious Most of all, don't share your password with anyone!
Best technique: remember a sentence like "I am not good at this work. Are you?" Then make a password out of it.. First letters like I from I A from am N from Not So it would be like iangatw.ay? The password is "iangatw.ay?"
there is one method I have learned after being in the military for quite some time... its call "jumbled memory" 1st look at your keyboard, since you can make a password with any key, you type it shows its called jumbled memory because it need not be words for your password EXAMPLE : 7896/*-+qwedASDC as you can see its just patterns of keys I typed that made it a very hard password to crack if u look at your numpad 7896 makes a l shaped pattern but sideways , then I used the symbols above it using the same pattern /*-+ and the same ithe the letters going the opposite side of the keyboard qwed for lower case and ASDC for upper case .. try it out its a lot easier . 8520*%@)LKJHgfdsa !@#456QWEasd 098POIuyt%^& ABC123abc!@#
