Stomach pain up to 10-20 min after eating that slowly goes away. What causes this?

It started two days ago and is getting worse. It's a pain in the areas of my stomach and intestine. Almost right after I eat it starts. It's an unpleasant cramping pain that makes me want to lie down. It progressively gets worse and then dulls down to nothing over time until I eat again. It is not associated with my period because that ended last week. Please help it is getting more uncomfortable and painful and is a distraction in class after lunch. I have no idea what it is.

Could be gastritis -inflammation of the stomach lining. Antacids can help

I hope so also. But on a better note, if it IS your gall bladder, today's medical procedures only require a one day surgery, which means you are in and out the same day with minimal pain. When I had my surgery, it was MAJOR. Two week hospital stay, and extreme pain. But, let's not claim it is your gall bladder. Maybe acid reflux? Acid reflux does not just occur as heartburn. It can relocate itself to many different areas in the body. Try some tums and see if it helps.....Good Luck
