Where did the name for "Peanut Butter" come from? And who created it?

Like, who came up with the name?

Well it's butter from a peanut and it's creator is an African-american man by the name George Washington Carver

He was African American? Wow. Look at how many products use peanut butter. My little brother can't live with out Reese's. God bless him.

It was named it by the inventer George Washington Carver in the early 1900's he was a black scientist who found many uses for peanuts and their shells, he actually invented the wafer ice-cream cone made from peanut shells. He is also one of the most forgotten great scientists who should be lauded by all black americans.
