TIP: do not use hair spray, or any type of hair things.all those chemicals will mix and your hairs is going to lose its shine and look.It's going to have a very dry look.so really, just brush with a soft bristled brush, use shampoo( i've heard conditioner is even more dangerous the hairspray because it is made of the same ingredient as kitchen soap!) and don't go around in pools( in the summer, that is.)

Every day you want to rub your head atleast once for three minutes, this loosens up the hair follicles and rejuvenates them. Drinking lots of water will definitively help, water keeps everything on and in you strong, this is not a skip to step, it keeps your hair at its healthiest and strongest. There are many conditioning masks you can whip up out of home ingredients on pinterest. Every once in a while I will whip up an egg or too and while I am showering I just pour it over my hair and massage it in. But basically just brushing it often, if you really want it to get long fast dont wear it in a ponytail or bun often. You don't want to curl, straighten, or blow dry to often as this will damage the hair, once or twice a week is ok and don't freak out to much about this step (it is the hardest for me so I don't worry about it to much). Also make sure you are trimming it every 6 weeks or so, believe it or not this will help it grow faster and keep it healthier! There is a lot of information on pinterest about this. Actually washing your hair every day isn't good for it it dries it out your hair has natural oils that protect it from damage and washing it everyday strips it of those, you should only wash it every other day
