Waiting for the right person is the best thing anybody can do. And, my rule of thumb has NEVER once been wrong. If you wanna see how a guy will treat you, watch how he treats his own mother (if she is around). I don't know how or why that is, but I have not been wrong yet.

I was glad to read you writing "you used to have a crush but he had a girlfriend". That in itself would mean NOTHING to some girls/ladies. I was glad you did not allow yourself to be lowered to becoming "the other woman". Shows you have self respect, which in my opinion, many women (and men) are lacking today.

Sorry to enlighten you...but as all of the previous answers pointed out (and very well done) this is NOT a dating website. Also, how do you even know "Ashley" IS "Ashley", and not "Alvin"?? You are surfing the wrong place to try to find romance. Trust me.

watch the MTV new show called "catfish". It is ALL ABOUT people meeting people online and finding out the truth. I have not seen one episode where everything was what it appeared to be. You are also playing a dangerous game. You don't know WHO you might be meeting for real, should you ever agree to meet FTF.
