What kind of a question is this? Can babies swim with diapers on? No. So can you swim with a pad on? Of course not.
Unless you want to bleed in the pool. If you do, go for it.

Uh actually yes, a baby can swim with a diaper on as long as you put a little fabric undies over it, or you can use special swimming diapers. But swimming with a pad....No way.

I meant with just a regular diaper.

Swim with a tampon

Right, I think everyone should have the sense not to swim with a pad on, nobody has to teach you that.....common sense, right.

Not the best idea. I'd use a tampon but even that can be risky.

Please don't, tampons are better for swimming.

Not really because the pad will absorb water and you will feel like you have a full diaper on.

It doesn't do anything. tampons will be better in that situation

I would think that tthe pad would absorb the water and fall apart like a diaper.... I havent worn a pad in years tho. Yes, go with the tampon

Sure, if you want it to swell up to the size of a life preserver and look like you have a saggy diaper on when you get out of the pool. But it won't stop you from bleeding in the water so I wouldn't recommend it.

Sure but it'll look like you have an oversized vag and it's not as effective as a tampon would. I'm sorry if you're uncomfortable with them or if it's against your religion but that's that. Don't go swimming when your uterine lining sheds if you can't/won't at least wear a tampon.

Tampons are the obvious choice but many younger females are afraid of or can't use Tampons for medical or religious reasons.
In the not too distant past Tampons did not exist and young women had 2 choices. Don't swim during your cycle, or use a Natural Cloth Pad.
Water pressure will slow your bleeding a lot while submerged. It's after getting out of the water that its a problem.
It's safer and more hygienic to just stay out of the water for a few days.

Unless you want it to float up in the pool but it depends on what you wear but in a public place don't do it its embarrassing to you and disgusting to most people

You can but within 2 minutes of hitting the water everyone will know you have your period. Either the red/brown water around you or the water-soaked blob between your legs will give it away. If you want to swim but not use a tampon wait until nearing the end of your cycle. Only stay in the water for a short time otherwise the above description happens. The cold/cool water slows the flow down for a short while. I do suggest that if you try this; doing it in a private pool.

well if ure only with ur friends id say go ahead. ive done that before. in the water, it will just get saturated but the water will wash away the blood so no one sees it. this is a bit risky in the pool but foolproof in the sea. but again if u dont care if u leak then whatever right? but yes the only thing is when u come out of the water the pad wont be any good. so change it asap. it will work for a lil while to be sure but not very long. but if ure at a pool im sure theres a bathroom nearby and if ure at the beach, wrap a dark towel around u on the way home, just in case.

but i really suggest that if its going to be the end of the world u leak ...DONT go in the water because its very possible that u will! oh and wear dark shorts.

Don't do it... I went to a hotel where somebody must've attempted it in the pool... not pretty, it rose up to the top of the pool and the entire pool evacuated afterwards.

The pad will just absorb the water, and it will wont absorb the period, tampons will work, but periods seem to stop underwater,

Please don't color the pool. You will attract a pool shark. Use a tampon. The swimming ones. But they won't swim inside of you
