Sorry Jeb, in the 90's, I was partying at the masquerade in Atlanta. A little to old for that now. Besides, maiden is a religious band, look art some of my other answers.

Yeah, I guess Queen would have to be the better call, though I wasn't that appreciative of them as a kid than I am now.

AC/DC. I think you can classify them as an 80s rock band, right?

That was the beginning of the Brian Johnson era with "Back In Black" being released in July of 1980. ;-)

Shoo. I knew I listened to them in the late 80's. But I never know what's classified in what years. LOL

I saw them 3 times live with Bonn Scott. After he died they just weren't the same.

For me it would be a toss-up between Huey Lewis and the News and Van Halen

Yeah, I was pretty addicted to them too. You like "Southern Rock" then surely you must like .38 Special and Lynyrd Skynyrd (Though LS was probably more 70's)

Yes! Gah, now I want to hear some old school rock!

Most southern rock was popular in the '70s. I actually quit buying music in 1980.

Molly Hatchet: "Beatin' The Odds"
AC/DC: "Back in Black" were two of the last albums that I bought.

FM radio went from being album oriented to commercial. Most songs became 3 minutes or less. ALL of the major bands became sellouts so I quit buying their mass produced crap.

I listened to Def Leppard because my brother brought their import from Europe before it was released in America. They were a throwback to the 70's but eventually they became sellouts as well.

Metallica. Don't care if they're Metal and not Rock, but they are going in here anyways.
