What does it mean when my yfz 450 had a loud pop from the exhaust, and wont start, but shifts

what does it mean when my 2004 yfz 450 had a pop out of exhaust and started smoking, and wont start, but shifts through gears and rolls on wheels fine?

When your YFZ 450 had a loud pop from the exhaust, and wont start it might mean that there are loose pipes that are allowing air to enter into the system. You can check with a mechanic to fix the problem for you.
