Happy holidays to all and a happy new year!

Green and red, exact opposites and the hardest two colors for your eye to see. I hate christmas.

me too, I just want it to be over XD

I want it to be over because I dont believe it
Report as
You don't have to believe it-- it was once a pagan holiday anyway before Christians turned it into Christ's birthday. Just try to have some fun and enjoy a few extra days off:)

How are they hard to see? The reason why traffic lights are Red yellow and Green, is because they are so vivid and easy to see. Do you also hate driving?

Good point blacksmith!

It is still pagan. and christ's birthday, half way across the world so technically in your june or july.

And lights are those colors because you see the presents of it, and from farther away. signs are green because you are more likely to look at it. green and red together, as in take out yellow and leave the lights steady on, you wont see it til you look directly at it.

Just like religion, every holiday is man made. It's not where things came from it's what they are. And Christmas is about love and joy, and the gift of giving. I think when your heart is full of hate, you see hate everywhere. Ever see a Christmas Carol? It might do you some good.
Report as
The green light and the red light are steady on. ANd they never appear at the same time as the yellow. Now you just talking nonsense.
Report as
christmas is about the birth of mythical jesus. I dont have a heart of hate, I have a heart of blood. and I dont see hate, I see the world. I see more in the world than you ever will behind the closed doors of your church

Christmas is not about the joy of giving thats a load of bull... Christmas to me has always meant conflict in families, greed, arguments, death ect ect... turn on your tube, do you see christmas ads about the joy of giving or the vises of greed... have you ever given that some thought? It might do you some good. and scrooge in your little "Christmas carol was "scrooge " because of his evil heart and he wouldnt love or give to his fellow man, we dont have to believe in christmas for that. Christmas is the opposite of love and giving

green and red are not steady on, its a delayed flash. watch a video of an intersection, but at high speed. its a strobe slowed down, with the middle light just lasting less time. green and red are not steady on.
Report as
Apparenlty you have a hard time seeing green and red. I wonder what else it is you can't see; aside from the use of a metaphor. You have a high opinion of what you can see, and yet you fail to be able to see beyond what is in front of your face. And by the way behind the closed doors of what church?
Report as
the church of your religion, and fail to see infront of my face? have you ever seen a streetlight? or are you amish? the red and green arent always on. they turn off as the other is on.
Report as
Yeah, thanks for repeating what I just told you. That tells me at least you're listening. Who said I'm religious? And what religion did they say I am?
Report as
ahh, I read your earlier posts wrong.

Red white black and green. I love Christmas. It's about joy and love. And the gift of giving. Only a miserable fool would hate Christmas. Like Scrooge.

Red and green were the colors associated with the pagan celebration of Yule. When the Christians co-opted the holiday in the fourth century to get converts, many of the pagan traditions stuck.
