Why do people believe in Yashayah instead of jesus?

what did he do? I mean, who is he? didn't jesus show and do enough for us to believe in him?

You have your beliefs. Everyone else has theirs. They are free to believe whatever they want, so instead of judging what they believe, accept it because you can't change it, nor do those people want to change.

I think you are referring to Yeshuah(?). That is the Hebrew (or Jewish) pronunciation of Jesus, I do believe...

Jesus name is not Jesus, that is a Greek name given to him later in the Christian Era, in true translation Jesus should be Joshua, in Hebrew it would be Yeshuah. Look it up in a Hebrew bible. It is questionable where the name Jesus came from, I've heard one theory that it is J-Zeus, but who knows.

I do a lot of research, religion is interesting to me especially the history of it and where many of the beliefs came from. And it doesn't pay to fight lol.

Yashaya = Yeshaya=Yeshua=Jesus
Different names for the same Being. Jesus has many names in many languages. yashaya/Yeshua is Hebrew (Jewish) for Jesus. Other names for Jesus are Christ, Messiah, The Word, Jesu, Jhesu, Isu/Yasi, Iza, Isus, Iisous, Jezi, Yeshu, Yexus, Iosa, Gesu, Chua Geisu, Lesu.
Many names in many languages but all for the same being. Jesus importance isnt in the name he is called, it is in who he is and what he did for us. The name used to worship him by is unimportant. Technically the Hebrew name 'Jesus' is a convulted varient of the name Joshua or Jeshua. So technically we could call Jesus Josh if we wanted. The name isnt important. It WHO and WHAT he is that is important.
