Why do people call christmas the holidays
i dont get it
Because they choose to remove Christ from their celebrating. A day set aside to commemorate Christ's birth, many have taken the path not to recognize this...yet they insist on having the day off! That's what I don't grasp...
I am thinking that they may mean Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Years Eve and New Years all together
Not everyone celebrates Christmas. There are several different holidays within two weeks of Christmas. It is more likely to not offend anyone to say Happy Holidays. I just say Marry Christmas anyway.
Not all people or religions celebrate Christmas, so the generic term "the holidays " may not offend those who don't celebrate Christmas. And again the holidays is sometimes collectively used for the time leading up to Christmas and ending at New Years, school breaks, work closures, etc.
Because Atheist take what they want by force and have no regard for anyone but themselves.
cauz they don't have to work on that day
holy + days = holidays
They are people pleasers they want to please otheres more than God to show they have no conection with Christ
not everyon does the christmas
Because during this time period is Christmas, New Years and Hanukkah. Saying merry Christmas, happy Hanukkah, happy new year is just a bit much, don't you think?
Not everyone is Christian. Christmas is an adopted holiday by Christians. It was first a celebration by pagans.
