Is the joy of love worth the pain it brings?

Report as

I would say yes. I think about my first love all the time and quite honestly, I hate her so much. I also thank her for shaping me into the man I am today and teaching me some harsh lessons that needed to be learned. We both could have been better people but she was not willing to keep fighting for our relationship. Despite all of that, the love I have for her shrouds my hate and anger towards her and I can't help but feel happy because of all the wonderful memories and feelings we had.

Dude, you make me want to cry. You should write a novel honestly. Call it, "The Pain of Love" or "Pain and Love". I would buy it.

Love is an emotion that can not be explained. This is because it does not exist. Don't confuse love with the fear of being alone. If you can overcome that fear, you need not seek 'love' but can live a happy fulfilled life.

Yes because at that moment you can be thankful for the love and happiness .There's a time for every thing we must allow for those stages of love and no love .Love that's gone you can say I'm thankful for the love i had at the time because it was for that time and not for now .What you need now God will supply to you .He knows what you need and when you need it

Have you ever listened to the song "The Rose"? LeighAnn Rimes does a wonderful job. Listen to it on you tube. It can help you decide. The words are beautiful and the song speaks to your heart. Check it out.
