Alexander was King of Macedonia who conquered most of the ancient world. His empire stretched from the Adriatic sea to the Indus sea. There was a legend that said he broke a ancient rope that was foretold that who ever broke the rope would conquered all of Asia. Alexander broke the rope by sneaking a small knife to cut the rope. He was then fear by that because he was going to conquered Asia but he died before doing so.
