My mom has the flu and a very high temperature, any helpful tips?

Help needed.

If her temp is 101, Make her some tea, or soup. Get her a pain reliever if she hasn't already taken one. Let her rest. If it is 102 call the doctor. Any higher than that get to the hospital

Thanks this is really helpful, but her temperature rises when I give her tea and soup. Should I give her iced tea and ice cream instead?

Iced tea, gatorade, water. You just need to keep her hydrated.

Try buying her some Vitamin C drops. I always take the ones by Halls once a day during Flu season, and they work quite well.

Ok firstly you shouldn't get that flu so try to not to stay too much in a room with your mother or open a window of that room. Do not stay too much near of your mother. Wash your hands all the time. For your mother, she will say "I am freezing, I want to be warmer." but dont listen to her. This is for her sake. Get her a cold shower.(Not too cold of course) You have to get low that temperature. After that she has to lay to bed and dont let her to take too much things onto her when she is in bed. If you can, make a soup for her. She has to get a pill that is used for fever too(I couldn't remember the english word of it so I explained the pill like that). Probably she has to take antibiotics too but dont give her antibiotic before going to a doctor.
