What is a good way to answer the interview question,"What are your weaknesses?" (professionally)

I'm not sure how to answer this since the job I'm applying for is in a somewhat different field.

Just always make your weakness into a positive. Think about it. When they ask you what is your strength, which is easier to answer, tell them & turn it around when they ask your weakness. For example: I always want to know how to answer the question right now but have learned to pause, wait & then the answer comes to me.

Or something like: I feel like if I'm not early I'm late.

Sounds dumb now. I'll get back with you later. It's too late to think at this time. I've always hated those interview questions.

Just tell them what you are not good at. Being honest with your boss(s') is a good thing. You build up trust and get a better relationship with him/her.

See you at the interview ;)
