Uh no. PLEASE don't wash your face with bar soap. It's so bad for your skin And only make matters worse. If your skin really is oily you need to get a cleanser with salicylic acid in it. It's exfoliating and is attracted to oil an will collect it and wash it off ur face as u rinse. But make sure your skin is actually oily. Beacuse it could be just the opposite. It sounds like ur skin is freaking out from being badly and over treated wich can actually dry your skin out to the point where it starts over producing oil cuz it's being dried out. And u can break out from being too dry. In that case u will need balancing an hydrating products with a good moisturizer to back it all up. So I'd suggest going to a spa or something where u can find an esthetician ( skin therapist) an have them look at your skin. Maybe go for a mini facial and ask what professional product they would suggest. I'm an esthetician I promise u anything u can get from wall Mart isn't the best for ur skin. Since ur young you will probably do well with the right cleanser and a moisturizer u just gotta get the right kind for your skin type

I agree with you,bar soap is the worst thing you can use for cleansing your face. It's like using battery acid. A cleansing milk, toner and moisturizer 2x's a day. DO NOT TOUCH YOUR FACE WITH YOUR HANDS THROUGHOUT THE DAY!!!!! So many of us don't even realize how much we touch our face when we're deep in thought, working driving, stressed out, and especially when we get tired at the end of a workday. Bacteria transfers to your face and well..... Let the bacteria breeding begin!

Nearly any skin soap will help clear pimples. The thing most people do wrong is application. Wash your face with warm to hot water each night (which opens pores) then apply the soap, then rinse with cold water (closes pores to keep oil from clogging) and put a clean towel over your pillow nightly. Best of luck!

Dr. Bronners peppermint Castile soap. Works great. Smells great. Last a long long time. I prefer the liquid, but bars are available. You can buy it at target in the beauty section, or at trader joes, whole foods or other ranch market type stores.

i have very oily skin too. what works best for me is dial and tone soap. dial's my favorite though. my face is especially oily as well so i did some research and found that aloe vera is good at keeping it under control so i started doing that a couple of years ago. i get it at walmart or the dollar store in the health and beauty department. i rub it on my face then i put my makeup on over it and it works VERY well. Good Luck

You can try natural remedies to get rid of oily skin. Take some honey, yogurt, milk and crushed sesame seeds and make a paste of these ingredients. This is also beneficial home cure for improving complexion of oily skin.
