What age do you consider old?

Im pass 30 but not close to 40. My children say im not (old old) but im old. Whatever that means. What do you think?

You're not old at all ! You're in your prime years ! I'm much older than you and that's old . 60 . All kids think they're parents are old ! Have some fun !

I work in a nursing home and I don't think there is such a word as old. I care for people in their 90s who are just as physically and mentally able as me.

I know some elderly ones too...they are more active than alot of people I know. Even me..lol. Great answer.

I actually don't consider any age to be old. I work in a nursing home and there are so many people there that are completely mentally stable. Old isn't really anything to me.

An old saying used to be "Life begins at 40" but now since the new 40 is 30 it's hard to determine. I think that saying came about because people had children when they were younger & the kids were usually moved out of the house by then! I'm 56, liking it & loving it. My mother will be 80 next year & says "You're only as old as you feel". She has a very social life which adds to longevity of life. It's all in your perspective.
