What's your favorite movie, that was originally a book? And how did the movie compare to the book?
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. Book was slightly better.
Interview with a Vampire. Movie was excellent, but the book was still better.
star wars and the movie was better
The entire Harry Potter series. The movies were as amazing as the books and had incredible special effects
The Hunger Games!!! :D I loved the book because it was a bit more detailed, but the best part of watching the movie was not having to imagine what all the characters and settings would look like.
Little Women, but I have always loved things from that era. I thought it pretty much was as expected, or that I imagined when I read it. Pride and prejudice was another, but I don't think the movie did the book justice.
The Lord of the Rings. I like the book just a little bit better.
Lord of the Rings. My favorite series of books, and the movies weren't as good... But they were still nice
The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, the book was awesome, and the movie was pretty good too, just not as detailed as the book, which made the characters more shallow.
The Godfather. The book was better. More descriptive of the characters and the Family.
I liked The Lovely Bones, book and movie.
I enjoy Nicholas Sparks books. They make most of those into movies but his books are so much better.
I like the Lord of the Rings series. I was slightly disappointed in the moves because I kept visualizing Basil Rathbone as Gandalf.
The twilight saga and the movies were better than the books cause I love seeing how the characters actually look.
