How do you get Internet/wifi in home?

I need to hook up Xmas crap like Xbox wii and a tablet.

you need to pay an Internet provider. if you have a land line telephone service or cable or other Tv service they all provide it. call them to compare prices. always ask if they have any promotions but only after they tell you the cost to you. negotiate
after you get their promotion offer. say that's still more than I was expecting to pay. do that with each provider before you agree after you get the lowest priceyou can.
