Is it weird that I want things to go post-apocalyptic

I've gone through mild depression wishing for it

It's a common theme in our age. Since the world has grown smaller (civilization) there are fewer ways for people to find a true sense of freedom and independence. A post apocalyptic scenario gives that feeling of choosing your own course in life and the world in general. Just don't let it get you down, and remember, be careful what you wish for.

i understand what you mean and its not weird just a little depressing and understandable i was kind of wishing for it to but knew it wasn't going to happen

Well, first, it's the apocalypse, an then after it all stops falling apart, if anyone is still left, then it's post apocalypse. That's assuming that the rapture won't happen.
