So we're all still here. Was anybody actually worried that the world would end?

I heard they closed schools on the States as a precaution. Ha ha!

Not here. School buses were creeping through the trailer park picking up kids just like every other school day. No change in traffic sounds. No screaming or weeping. No praying in the streets. No mass suicides. We handed it pretty well here.

Apep, a couple of places closed schools due to rumors of problems but a lot of schools were already out for Christmas break.
I am awfully glad that stupid question is now gone away

I don't actually believe in the Rapture, either, my friend. The world will end when Sol goes nova and decimates our system. Humanity will be gone long before that happens, though.

It's all academic, really. Humanity will be gone within the next one hundred years, I believe. We've come close to nuclear war three times since the atom bomb was invented half a century ago. With its availability now, it's only a matter of time. I'm just glad I live in Australia. We're the least probable target of any NATO ally. ;)

Yeah, you guys are right up there for bitter extremists looking for payback, but you can take solace in knowing that South Korea actually has more nuclear warheads programmed to launch at them than any other country in the world. ;)
