Well first of all it's free, gives you outstanding explanation of nearly every topic you can think of (it's updated daily), thus the prospects of finding error in Wikipedia is extremely low (in terms of vocabulary and grammar used). It's available in many languages and is perhaps the most popular encyclopedia. I recommend it for projects or any other subjects, it was really helpful to me!
Well it tells you information on just about anything you could think of. The only problem is that you shouldn't use it for a school project because it may not be totally 100% reliable, but it is useful if you just need to quickly look something up.
It does tell you a lot of recent information. However I don't suggest using it for a project or essay because when you cite your sources teachers don't find wiki as a reliable source because it can be edited by anyone.
