Weird feet temperatures...?

My feet do this weird thing where they are either extremely cold, or extremely hot. When they're cold, nothing (not socks or slippers or blankets or whatever) can get them warm again, unless I wrap them up in a heating blanket or pad for a while. They sweat ice cold, too, even when they aren't hot. When they're hot (especially if I've been exerting a lot of energy) they swell a bit around my toes and heel and they turn bright, bright red and are very uncomfortable (and again, nothing can cool them down unless I put ice on them), and they don't seem to sweat at all. Does anyone know why they do this? They seem to be cold more often than they're hot, but they're never just a normal temperature. They've been like this for years now.
