He was Jewish. The difference between Judaism and Christianity is just that Christians believe he rose on the 3rd day whereas Jews are still waiting for him to arise.

Short answer is: he was not born on Christmas. On this almost all who seriously study the Bible agree. I gave a longer explanation a while back. If you are really interested go to my profile and look at the questions I've answered.

It doesn't matter what exact day He was born. We celebrate the fact that He was born and even more so that He died and 3 days later was resurrected overcoming death (sin) so that we all can receive salvation from our sins through Him and His sacrifice. Have a Merry and Blessed Christmas.

Christians hijacked the dec date of various pagan festivals to make Christianity more accepted. Scholars best guess is Sept but nobody knows for sure.

Sept. 11, 3 B. C. A. K. A. Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. Biblical prophesy, Astronomical data and historical fact bear this out.

Should have left a space between B.C. and AKA, AKA = also known as.

Why do people say nobody knows? How can you be sure that nobody knows? Maybe someone does know. I think it would be better to say that you don't know but not make presumptions about everyone else.
Report as
Sorry. I just don't think anyone can prove exactly when he was born.
