Is having dreamless sleeps a good thing or bad thing?

I used to dream nearly every night as a kid. Only recently, when I had a nightmare, did I realize that I hadn't dreamt at night since I was a preteen. Does not dreaming make you sleep better?

You always dream. Its impossible to go without dreaming. But you just forget them. All I can tell you is that as the night goes on, your rem cycles get longer. The longer the REM cycle the more likely you are to remember your dream. Have you been sleeping enough?

I think that when you sleep better you don't remember your dreams.

It is bad if you don't dream but normally you do. You mostly forgot the dream before waking and thought you didn't.
