What is the purpose of high heels for women? Do they make your legs looks any different? Seems about as sensible as ties for men.

High heels make a woman automatically stand straight. Due to the high arch. The calf of a woman in a high heel looks noticeably different then a woman in a flat shoe. There is a difference.

I hate high heels! It makes all the girls who are shorter than me suddenly taller! Man, I wish I want' short! >:(

I don't know about you but if I were to be in a fight my first instintink wouldn't be to trip over my self to take one of my shoes off. Or even attempt to do a kick in heels

You know I never tripped or fell in a pair of high heels, but one time I tripped over a pair on the floor, and twisted my ankle. lololol I wish I WAS joking.

They're supposed to be stylish or something. I think they look nice if they're not too slutty but they kill your feet!

makes them easier to catch...(there idea..not mine..men must have been in short supply at one time..)(it was a trap..)

i dont really know. They say it makes you look sexy or something, but it makes girls walk weird, and i think it can mess up your legs. in Japan, the women wear really pointy heels, and there toes are messed up from it.

It supposedly makes legs more shapely and is considered sexy and stylish. Personally, I think they are silly and never wear them.

There is nothing sensible about high heels, but I do think they make a woman look more "dressed-up," same as a man wearing a tie. Personally, I like heels 'cause they make me taller. If I could still walk/limp around in my boots, I'd be 5' 9" instead of a mere 5' 5" in flat shoes. :(

High heels help to lift the butt, plus they're also used as hand grips! :-)

I love wearing heels!! I'm short only 5ft 4in. and I need a boost. I usually wear 3-4 inch heels and I can turn any guys head because I can walk so gracefully in them

LOL!!! I could give you lessons. It's all in the way you carry yourself. If your proud of the way you look, and have your shoulders squared and head held high and a smile on your your face you can turn most anybodys head. vIncluding mine

You can become an expert with practice. They aren't for everybody.
