Sounds kind of odd but I was told blinking very slow calms cats and makes you more approachable. So I tried it and it worked. Then I got very tired after a bit of doing it and I tried it again when I couldn't sleep and it helped me get tired. I think it stimulates when You are tired or something. But it works for me :)
