What is the stringy white stuff in bulk sausage?
It sticks to the utinsels when raw
Stringy white stuff in sausage is possibly fat. However,do not take my word for it , I'm not a licensed sausage inspector.
It's fat because when the sausage is getting warmer the fat is no longer in a completely solid state and with the friction of a cooking utensil on the sausage the fat gets gooy and sticky and then it's everywhere
It may be either a bi product in the manufacturing process or a preservative used for it. You can also ask the customer service at the store where you bought the sausages.
I'm not allowed to tell.
