What should I say to her that doesnt seem like awkward?

okay so there's this girl that goes to school with me and she was on my Intramural volleyball team. I just thought she was a really cool girl to talk to during the semester, but I start to feel like that I'm attracted to her during this break. I have her number but we haven't talk since the volleyball season, which is almost a month. so what should i say to her that wont seem like its awkward?? she does have one of my shirt that I let her borrow during the season, so I was thinking using that as excuse. But any ideas would be great! thanks!

That's a tough one. Just say that you were going through your contacts and saw her number and thought you would shoot her a text to see how she was doing. Maybe ask her if she would be interested in hanging out and catching up? That is not creepy at all and a perfectly reasonable request.

Yeah. Don't overthink things. If you want to come off as casual....be casual. If this is meant to happen...it will happen naturally.

Just don't be so self-centered. Talk say "hi how ya doing?" or "how has it been for you?" ask a question that you know would get her attention and voila you have started a conversation! Hope this helped and merry Christmas! <[|:D

"Hi, haven't heard from you since volleyball, just wanted to see how you've been doing". That isn't over the top but it does let her know you were thinking about her.

just be yourself, text her, be goofy, have a conversation, then slowly transition.
