well, thank you. I don't hold it against my children. A lot of people thinks they are old enough now to do better toward me, but I realize the mental abuse they where put through. I don't know if they will ever get over what their mother did to them and put them through.

I know what you are saying. Someone near me had the same experience. It remains to be seen if the offspring realizes the lies told her by the mom, the prognosis is grim. You are a kind and forgiving father, you and your children, are blessed, even if they don't know it yet.

My family gave me some things I wanted. My sister got me new snake-skin cowboy boots. My other sister gave me several of my favorite movies on Blu-ray. My mother and stepfather bought me an Amtrak ticket so I can take that vacation I wanted. My brother gave me a gift card for a saddle shop (I bought new jeans and spurs). My father and stepmother gave me some cash for my trip.
