Okay fishy, I'm so glad you asked this. I'm not sure if I'm demented, have too much time on my hands, or am just plain out living in a la la land, but here goes. I do believe in reincarnation. Have you ever ran into/met someone, that you just know that you have seen somewhere and have an attraction to them of some kind? I personally think, this phenomena is explained with reincarnation. You knew this person in another life. Have you ever experience de ja vu? Something very similar, not identical of course, happened to you in another life. I think when you die, your "spirit" decides to move onto the next level, or not, depending on if you feel you fulfilled your "destiny". Some of us, have young souls, meaning we just started our journey. Now I'm not sure where souls come from exactly. And some of us have old souls, meaning we have sort of been in rotation thru a lot of different lives. Ever met that child or even adult who is by far older than they are? I think that once us old souls decide we are done, and we have done everything we could possibly have done, to make our lives exactly the way we want them, then there is some kind of final oasis where we rest.
I believe that when you die you die, and the only way to "Live on" is to make history with your life so the future generations revere you for what you have done/made for them. No way of salvation, the only way of salvation is technology that might make you immortal. Such as organ replacement with robotic counter-parts, prosthetics that are better than human limbs to help with getting old and weak, and more of course.
I don't believe in reincarnation. I believe after we die, we get put in a box and rot, and insects eat most of our bodies. Or you get cooked to a crisp. I think when you die, end of story, the end. Not intending to be cynical, that's just my belief of death. I do believe in spirits however.
I don't subscribe to it. But to piggy back off of your question, can someone be reincarnated on another planet, or just earth? If it is just earth, what happens when earth ends? Does our previous life/ lives permeate this one? If not, what stops our soul from remembering, if so, why don't we recall anything from our lives from other planets? Thanks for tolerating me and my added questions. God bless.
27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, 28 so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.
