You just need the facts. Religion has nothing to do with it. Our BIBLE gives us that. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son ; that whosoever believeth in Him ; shall not perish ; but have everlasting life. The facts : believe in the death--burial-- and ressurection of Jesus Christ. No man comes to the Father ; but by Jesus the Son.
A true religion is one that i really complete and is able to meet our needs. One which hasn't been misrepresented, or if it has, it's still recoverable. One which really from God. Now, everyone has to explore ll the religions and find the one which fits the bill.
I believe in god. I just don't think that we should be following a book that was written years ago. I think that if you have peace with god in your heart that's all you need. In reality religion was made to control the weaker minds of humanity. And I'm not stating any insult about any religion so don't go off on me.
But there is only ONE religion. And that's love. See? None of the existing religions invite you to hate others. None tells you to hurt others. The message of all the religions in the world is very simple: Be good. But then we take upon ourselves to interpret them and of course benefit from them. While the true answer is the true religion is the one that you believe in. But there's one condition, no matter what you believe in, always respect that others may have different opinions. Congratulations. Awesome question.
Hi DG, there is no true religion. There is though, true spirituality. Here goes: One God, YHWH, God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob. He has prepared a saviour for all mankind. I believe that to be Y'SHUA MESSIACH, Jesus Christ. All the scriptures I've read lead to him. The Word of God is true (inspired by him), although you may need to dig deeper to get the true meaning of some translated words. You should find your place with God the Father first & foremost.
"How you see me interacting with the world and its inhabitants" is THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE. It is how we be those things and center our faith on those things which hold our salvation. Reducing Jesus to an icon has nothing to do with actual Christianity. Mohandas Ghandi was asked what he thought about Christianity and he replied, " It is a fascinating religion to consider, and the great pity is that no one yet has actually tried it." What passes as popular Christianity, is a sad joke in response to the unfolding of the actual kingdom of heaven.
In the wonderful words of Buddha, there is only one religion in the world, but it is expressed in thousands of ways and no one persons belief is the same as another. I believe that all religions are right : )
