Why won't my iPhone let me delete my emails? I delete them, then empty the trash bin, and then they all come right back Into the email inbox

It's really getting on my nerves. It's like it wants to have exactly 100 emails in the inbox and won't let me delete and trash them. And the ones that come back ARE the ones I tried to delete. They are not new ones. (my adult son already tried that answer on me) Thank you for any help. Do I have to go to the PC and delete them from there?

Try logging out of your account that has the problem by going in setting and then mail options. Then log back in and see try again. If not, I'd suggest trying to delete them from computer. if this barely started happening then I suggest trying to log out and back in first.

I know with my cell phone, which isn't an iPhone I might add. But it is a smart phone. I can delete my emails from my phone, but they are not deleted from my email inbox. So I would like to say, you have to do it from your computer Sincerity. Have you tried this at least to see if it works? If not, do so and let me know!

My iPhone deletes them but not from the laptop. When I sign in there, the spam is still there. But if I delete them from the laptop, there are gone from the phone as well.

Same here. I think that's the answer. On to the PC...I hate that thing but I'll do it. Hope I can remember my pass codes. Thank you for answering.

You might be archiving your messages instead of deleting them. Go into settings, mail options, then select the account with the problem. See if u have "archive messages" to on. If u do, turn it off. Now every time u swipe an email, it'll be deleted instead of archived.

That's cool that you have an iPhone, which one do you have. I have the 3GS (it is my dad's old phone because now he has the iPhone 5).

I have the 3GS too but got an upgrade for Christmas. I just haven't gone to pick it up yet.

I wish that the 3GS had a front camera so I could FaceTime.

Oh I agree ! I have seen on here where people go in the bathroom or another big mirror to take pictures of themselves by posing in the mirror then using the phone in their hand to take the picture . But I agree on that!!!

iPhone Data Eraser makes it possible to delete the whole emails on your iPhone permanently. Once you are obsessed by junk emails on your iPhone, you can download the iPhone Data Eraser to delete them at once. The most attractive feature of it is that the entire deleted emails are unrecoverable. By the way, it can also be regarded as a warning for the sake of retrieving some emails in days to come, so you should backup your iPhone in advance.
