Well if your asking what I think your asking, the answer is Jesus came to seek and save what was most lost, us. He paid the price for our sin because our human nature is sick and twisted. What's amazing about this is that he loved us so much as to suffer the cross. Before they hung him on the cross, they flogged him, or whipped him with a whip laced with glass and rocks and hooks so it would rip of chunks of skin. Then they tried to make him carry his cross up the mountain, but his human body was too weak and they got someone to help him. Then, they spread his arms wide and put a nail through each of his wrists and one through his crossed feet. Then, as he hung with excruciating pain, he slowly began to suffocate. That's how the cross works. The only way tho breathe was to push up with your legs, which was blinding pain because that meant pushing against the spikes. After approximately 6 hours he died. 6. Hours. At any point he could have said enough but he stayed out of amazing unending love so he could justify our sin and let us spend eternity with him in heaven. All you have to do is except the gift. It's pretty cool in my opinion :P
It means We are all sinners and lost. But God Loved us so much that He sent His Son to die for our sins so that we can be reconciled back to Him and have fellowship with Him. For God so Loved The World He Gave His Only begotten Son to die for us. That whosoever believe upon Him will not perish but have everlasting life. For Son did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world but that though Him they might be Saved.
Remember what Jesus said to the religious leaders when they rebuked him for keeping the company of sinners & tax collectors. He said "the healthy need not medical attention, but the sick". He is searching for that lost, unwell soul that needs healing.
Us. We - humanity - was lost to sin. No way to get to God or heaven without fierce effort thru strict ritual and sacrifice. Christ was sent to save us from that sin and give us a chance to get to heaven.
