Is it bad for girls to ask out guys?

I want to ask a Guy out but my friends think it is fast and makes me seem desperate. I need help.

no, it's not bad, but get to know the guy first, then see if you'd be interested in asking him out, you MAY be asking too soon.

It's perfectly alright for a girl to ask a guy out. It's just that some girls aren't comfortable doing it. but good luck. :)

according to my mother its desperate of a girl to propose to a guy. im not sure about asking a guy out but I know it makes them lose their confidence because a guy prefers to ask the girl out and it takes alot of courage for them to do that.

No. It shows that your the kind of person who doesn't just sit back when she wants something; she goes for it. I think more girls should ask guys out rather than sitting back and waiting.

Nope. I say don't go by society's standards. That's why men and women aren't equal in some ways; we accept the standards given by society. Ask the guy out if you want to. Personally, I think it's really $exy.

It makes you seem easy. If you really like him show him you're hard to get. A real man will work to get what he wants. But this is kinda for an older girl. I guess just take my advice when you're in high school.

Of course not, don't you like it when a guy comes up to you confidently? Guys also like independent girls, who can do the same thing :) There is a line in being confident, & 'seeming easy' like the girl above said. You only 'seem easy' if your nasty and come onto him like a skank.
