I have 5 dogs & can't possibly afford to take them all to a vet for flea meds! What can I do to relieve their flea problems?

If you want to have the dogs treated for flea bites, there is a simple way you can do it at home by washing the dogs with chilly water first. Then, you can buy a hydrocortisone cream to apply on the dogs' skin to reduce the itching. For more tips check this site http://www.ehow.com/how_5905035_treat-dog-flea-bite.html.

Bathe your dogs and buy a flea collar for all of them. I don't see why you even said anything about the vet, no one takes a dog to the vet just for fleas. Now if it's ticks that's a different story.

Bathe the dogs with cold (not freezing) water and flea shampoo then buy flea collars that should get rid of them.
