What's a good hairstyle for me since I like my hair in a ponytail?

My hair is medium-longish. I like the feeling of it being tight back, but people say I need to change it up. My boyfriend said I should keep it down more but it gets frizzy and is really thick. So I really only keep it up if I have the top part pulled back. I want to change it up so I need some hairstyles that will still maybe have that tight feeling but is different?

Who cares what anyone says, they have their own hair, and they do what they want with their own. If you want to have it up, do it. You could put some pins in, do some plaited patterns or something, but if you don't feel like spending any extra time on your hair, don't bother.

You could us an anti-frizz creme and a good ceramic hair straighter. I too have very long, thick hair. I wear it up in the summer and down in the winter (keeps my head warm) They (Aussie) make a good leave in conditioner that helps with the frizzies.
